Alter Eva. Natura Potere Corpo
Amidst sculptures, paintings, photography and installations, the exhibition ALTER EVA presented the works of six Italian artists, Camilla Alberti, Irene Coppola, Martina Melilli, Margherita Moscardini, Marta Roberti, and Silvia Rosi, stimulating, from a female point of view, a reflection on the future based on new principles of natural and social cohabitation. Realised by the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi in collaboration with IED Florence – Master Curatorial Practice, the exhibition created a multifaceted narrative where deconstructed or imagined nature sat alongside exhibited or narrated bodies, but also where strong political statements held a dialogue with intimate and personal stories, all sharing a commitment to a transformation of the way we observe, speak, and act in the world.
